According to data released by JD.com, the order volume of 75 inch and above large screen televisions during the World Cup increased by more than twice compared to the same period last year, and the order volume of gaming televisions increased by more than four times compared to the same period last year.


The data from Oviyun also confirms this consumption trend: in the first week of the World Cup (48th week), the sales volume of the online color TV market increased by 19.4% month on month, and the sales volume of the offline color TV market increased by 64.0% month on month. According to data from Ovi Cloud Network, in the first week of the World Cup, in the online market, Hisense flat screen TVs increased by 64.9% month on month, ranking first among mainstream color TV brands in terms of growth rate; Offline, Hisense's retail sales share of flat screen TVs increased by 1.1 percentage points year-on-year. In the first half of this year, Hisense's U7H was equipped with the industry's first obsidian screen, solving problems such as lagging in sports scenes. The Hisense TV U8H, which was just launched at the end of September this year, quickly entered the top three high-end markets for 25000 yuan and above, becoming a popular model for high-end large screen TVs.


According to the analysis of some insiders, unlike the last World Cup, CCTV CCTV-16 launched the 4K UHD World Cup broadcast for the first time, and Tiktok provided the whole 4K UHD live broadcast. From the perspective of display technology, the increase of UHD broadcast has driven users' demand for higher definition and larger screen event viewing equipment, and stimulated the consumption of high-end large screen TV.
